VISION
"Redemption Hill Church is committed to fulfilling the Great Commission by spreading the message of Jesus Christ across the world. Our mission is threefold: Believe, Disciple, Impact. We invite all to believe in the life-changing power of Christ, nurturing a personal relationship with Him. Through intentional discipleship, we aim to equip believers to grow in their faith, knowledge, and love for God. Empowered by the Holy Spirit, we seek to impact the world by teaching, serving, and sharing the gospel, inspiring others to become disciples who, in turn, spread the message of salvation."
MISSION
Established in 1906 in Azuza St , It was started by the great late Bishop John G Lake which then came to Johannesburg and in 1908 it was started, predominantly it was very strong in mine settings where people were gathering and from there it grew, late in the 1970s, our late great one Bishop Richard Sihlokosenkosi Ngidi was raised by God, when he took over the reins of the AFM in what we used to call the Natal Region
AFM only had two assemblies, but when he departed he left more than 246 assemblies of the Apostolic Faith Mission and under his leadership we also built one of our iconic buildings in Lamontville where all members of the AFM will fellowship about 42 years ago, I would say in the 80s or late 70s Bishop M Dlamini working with the late Bishop Sylvester Hlophe they formed this assembly which is called Apostolic Faith Mission Mariannhill .
it has been growing day to day. We have not stopped seeing God growing the Assembly day by day and we still trust God that we are going take over the world as the Bishop always says.
